FAQs
What is a flower or botanical essence?
Flower essences are the vibrational imprint of a flower, preserved in water. The essence is considered to be the blueprint pattern of a plant, as stored by the shape of water molecules (Dr. Masaru Emoto has a fantastic documentary on how water retains imprints or memory).
How long do I take an essence?
Some essences are lifetime allies and other essences and remedies are required for only as long as an issue persists. The philosophy goes that, the longer one has dealt with an issue, the longer the duration of the remedy (but remember, all beings work on their own timeline!). A typical remedy for a 1oz bottle is 30 days and often taking a remedy for a 90 day cycle really helps to anchor in lasting change.
How do I use an essence?
Flower essences are most popularly taken orally, 4 drops under the tongue 4 times a day or 4-5 drops into a beverage sipped throughout the day. Flower essences can also be added to recipes and body products such as lotions, oils and perfumes.
How does an essence effect me?
Flower essences act as tuning forks; when the water of the essence interacts with the water in our bodies, the higher vibration of the essence has the ability to bring dissonant harmonies within the body back into tune. Think in terms of correcting soundwaves!
How do I know when I no longer need an essence or remedy?
We know we’ve healed a pattern when situations that once triggered us, no longer hold an emotional charge. We tend to forget to take the essence or our bodies will simply let us know that it is no longer needed.
